Hi, I'm Zia. I like turning messy problems into calm, working software.
I'm Mirza Zia ul Qamar, a full-stack software engineer based in Lahore, Pakistan. I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science and currently work as a Software Engineer at Shahtez Softwares PVT LTD, where I build, debug and deploy web products end to end.
Before that I freelanced from 2022 to 2024, building, debugging and testing web applications for clients. My final-year project was a full MERN application, which is where I fell for the whole stack: database design, APIs and the interface people actually touch.
Today I mostly work with Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and MongoDB. I care about the unglamorous parts that make products last: validation, error handling, performance and SEO. I also write about what I learn on the blog.
